Ms Ewa Majdak-Paredes is a board certified Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon based in Edinburgh with 14 years experience in the field of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. She has been involved and performed nearly 8000 operations.

 

Her personal approach has always been to focus not only on restoring form and function when it was lost or impaired, but at the same time also to rebuild the aesthetic appearance. Understanding of the anatomy and using the same surgical techniques form foundation for both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.

Her philosophy is to work in partnership with patients assessing their individual needs and desires, educate and empower them to help them make informed choices. She is honest in explaining what can or cannot be achieved. In partnership with patients, she formulates treatment options tailored to individual needs whilst at the same time taking care of safety and well-being. Her results are natural and patients are fully supported through the entire process. 

 

She endeavours to provide highest standards of care. She believes that patients often benefit from multi- or interdisciplinary management in order to achieve best possible outcomes.

 

We routinely collect PROMS (Patient Reported Outcome Measures) which show significant improvement in how patients feel about their life-changing surgery and overall quality of life.
